Removing Exchange 2007 Update Rollup 3

I was reading something the other day and I realised that this really is something that can be overlooked, mainly because someone had actually overlooked it!  Historically it has not been possible to remove Exchange service packs once they've been installed, hence the need to test them first, take a backup, and so on.  What about the update rollups for Exchange 2007?  The latest is Update Rollup 3 which naturally replaces the previous two update rollups.

A quick check in Add/Remove Programs doesn't ordinarily show that the update has been installed, so you'd be forgiven for thinking that you can't remove it.  However, remember to select the Show updates check box first - it'll then be revealed as shown below.
