Outlook Junk E-mail Reporting Tool

This is a useful addition to Outlook.  Microsoft has released a Junk E-mail Reporting Tool for Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2007.  Just download and run the .msi installer and a new toolbar is added to Outlook:

When you next get a piece of spam that has made it past the Outlook junk e-mail filter, just select the spam and click this toolbar button.  The spam will be sent to Frontbridge for analysis which will hopefully improve the filtering technology.  Clicking the toolbar for the first time will generate this message:

You will receive an auto-reply message regarding your spam submission.  If you send multiple spam submissions per day, you'll receive just the one auto-reply.

And how will I be remunerated for my generous contributions?
What if I send messages that are not spam?

I could only get this tool to work if I was in the Admin group. Not a practical solution for a Domain.

A good start, but...

By default, the button only seems to be available when in the Inbox view in Outlook 2003 XP SP2 (V11), but not when reading a message. That is when a user opens the message to check it actually is spam, they can't push a button to report it.

In fact when reading a message in Outlook 2003 XP SP2 (V11), there is similar looking icon (envelope with no entry sign) labelled "Permission" and has something to do with Digital Rights and not spam reporting - this may be confusing to some!

I tried it, worked ok.
I opened Outlook then Winblows, Microsux Outscrew gave the normal screwed up error message, now the new toolbar is gone.

Whoopy Microsux!
Get it now! never get it back after it's gone.

I have ran many spyware removal tools namely: XoftSpySE, RegCure, CWShredder, WINner Tweak 3, CCleaner, Spybot - Search & Destroy and the fancy Winblows-KB890830-V1.34.exe

They all clean this Microsux but no toolbar.

I say rather get Ubuntu as it's FREE and gets delivered to your post box!

If everyone does a little, we may cut back on some of this annoying spam.
