SMTP Virtual Server Learning...

The're's a new tutorial over at MSExchange.org that's definitely worth a read "SMTP Virtual Server Uncovered".... The article provides "some insight into better SMTP queue management to improve your ability to cope when your queues get swamped with spam and virus outbreaks."

...and while we're on the subject of queues, there's an updated Technet article on this very subject, covering both E2K and also the enhanced queue functionality in E2K3

What have you tried so far to fix the problem? What's changed? What's in the application log? Are all services running ok?

Have you been through these?

I am having a nightmare trying to send to compuserve. We can send with no problem all over the place. However, the president of our board of directors uses compuserve.

We have win2k ex2k. When I ck the queue it shows in the queue and continues to retry butnever gives a failure. I then delete all the msgs in the cs.com folder queue.
The folder should then disappear right? Well it doesn't there are no msgs waiting
and the folder still exists. Any help would be greatly aprpeciated.
